Each project will generally be structured as outlined below, for some projects there maybe additional stages, depending on the scale and whether an approval process is required.

Initial Consultation

A client questionnaire will be circulated, which provides some background information on your exciting project.
Arthouse Interiors will meet to discuss the project-specific needs and establish the scope of works. This consultation will assist with establishing a fee for the project. The fee will outline the proposed deliverables (inclusions/exclusions) and project phases/stages.

Look and Feel

The look & feel phase will establish the overall look of the project, different styles will be discussed. We specialize in numerous styles from traditional, contemporary, modern, coastal, Hamptons and Scandinavian

Project Briefing

Upon agreeance to the fee, we develop and establish a project brief, which goes through each of the areas within the project. At this stage, we dive deeper into the project specifics.

Concept Design and Space Planning

During this phase of the project, we will space plan the different areas, where layout changes have occurred. We will also produce 3D-rendered images of the areas agreed upon within the fee. During this phase, preliminary elevations are produced of the core areas, which will complement the 3D-rendered images. During the concept presentation, we will present finishes for review.

Authorities Approval

Not every project will require authorities’ approval, and this phase may be undertaken by an architect, or in conjunction with Arthouse Interiors. During the initial consultation phase, authorities’ approval will be discussed.

Documentation

Upon approval of the concept, we will then proceed with documentation, in order for the project to be tendered. Detailed plans, joinery and elevations will be provided. An FF&E schedule will be produced, based on the drawings. Feature lighting selections will be made.

Tendering and Contract

Should Arthouse Interiors be engaged to oversee the tendering of your exciting project, we will approach 3 builders for them to provide detailed pricing.

Construction and Project Completion

In the final stage, upon appointing a builder, construction will commence. Prior to construction commencing, this is also the phase where final changes are made to the documents (if required).

Furniture Selection and Styling

Arthouse Interiors is able to offer furniture selection and styling this can be discussed at any stage. A separate fee can be arranged for this.
